During the past few months, I have had cataracts removed and multi focal intra ocular lenses implanted in both eyes by Mr. Salvi. My vision has been transformed and I am delighted by the results. For the first time in years, I can read, watch TV and drive without needing glasses. I am still getting used to the clarity of my vision and the vibrancy of the colours that I am now experiencing. Mr Salvi was highly professional, friendly, reassuring, supportive, calming and informative throughout. I can totally recommend Mr. Salvi without reservation.

I have recently had a deep seated cataract removed, and a multi focal lens implanted by Mr. Salvi. After previously having had a similar operation on my right eye ( 7 years ago ) at a different private hospital with a different surgeon, which went very badly, I was concerned that the same problems would occur with my left eye. Having had a consultation with a colleague of Mr. Salvi who tried to put me off surgery, but upon my insistence referred me to Mr. Salvi. After seeing him, I was reassured by his professionalism, and following on from the initial consultation where my fears were allayed and a date for the operation agreed. Two days after surgery, a follow-up appointment saw that the operation was successful, and a third appointment showed that my vision had greatly improved. I can thoroughly recommend Mr. Salvi. A dedicated, caring professional who instils great confidence.

Mr Salvi performed an ectropian repair to my right eye. The initial consultation was conducted in a very professional manner. The need for an operation on my eye was quickly established. A date for the operation to be performed was given on this visit. The operation took approximately 40 minutes to complete.A very kind nurse held my hand throughout the procedure. Recovery was very quick with a return appointment given for two weeks.The procedure has been successful. Mr Salvi was very pleasant throughout the whole process. I would recommend him to perform this procedure. The reception staff were also very professional.

I had been referred to Mr Salvi by my optician for cataract surgery. At the initial consultation I was greeted warmly. Mr Salvi explained that he would be examining the eye and then discussing the surgical options with me. These options were explained to my satisfaction, and I was encouraged to ask questions which were carefully and considerately answered. We agreed the treatment plan and arranged the date for surgery. I was given explanatory leaflets to look through at home and a contact number if I had any further questions. The cataract operation went well and I received advice and the required eye treatment for the recovery period. Throughout the process I was impressed by Mr Salvi’s professional attitude and kind manner.
